bioMérieux in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an experienced assembler to evaluate, refurbish, assemble, align, and test automated electro-mechanical biological test systems. You will handle sub-assembly, final testing, and complex assembly tasks while maintaining documentation and GMP compliance.

The role requires 4+ years of experience with electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting and/or assembling electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices or instruments.
• Experience documenting engineering activities to support transparency and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for filling, packaging equipment and instrument manufacturing, and assist in improving manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of engineering activities including process improvements and repair activities.
• Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complex nature.
• Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation in compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
• Conduct advanced test procedures and ensure work aligns with quality procedures.
