Job summary

Induction Professional in Youngstown, OH seeks an Industrial Mechanic and Technician to support manufacturing of highly engineered systems. You will perform grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, and fabrication while collaborating with engineering on improvements.

This hands-on role requires reading blueprints, operating overhead cranes and forklifts, and ensuring strict PPE usage on all tasks. You will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prepare items for shipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing specialized products.
• Proficiency in grinding, welding (MIG/TIG), brazing, burning and heating.
• Experience with overhead cranes and fork trucks.
• Solid knowledge of rigging and material handling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly and mechanical structures.
• Familiarity with electric induction equipment is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and share improvements.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical work including grinding, welding and brazing.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metals with brazing techniques.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and position materials.
• Use rigging techniques for lifting and positioning components.
• Read electrical and mechanical blueprints, schematics, repair drawings.
• Fabricate components and assemble support structures.
• Disassemble and reassemble induction equipment components as needed.
• Contribute to design corrections and new product development.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to share progress and ideas.
• Support training and guide teammates on best practices.
• Manage multiple projects in a dynamic production environment.
