Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing facilities in Starkville and surrounding areas. You will perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, diagnose root causes, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include sourcing parts, operating machining tools as needed, maintaining CMMS records, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical/associates degree preferred.
• 3+ years in general industry or 5 years related experience; ATS Technician progression is acceptable.
• Know-how in electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; able to analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Able to use basic and specialized hand tools; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, locating root causes and repairing devices.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as needed.
• Operate machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards; participate in CI activities for cost savings.
• Update CMMS history and records; troubleshoot control systems and software/hardware issues.
• Support lower-level technicians and participate in training; engage in career development.
