Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) ICU to join our team under RN supervision. You will perform advanced clinical tasks, monitor patients, and support with phlebotomy, telemetry, and line/catheter care to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork with nursing, and timely responses to changing patient needs. Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of start. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds
• Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly
• Look ahead to patient needs, respond quickly, and help ensure experiences are seamless and compassionate
