Job summary

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN seeks a Patient Care Technician for the CRCC ICU/Telemetry unit. The role supports nurses in caring for critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiac patients, assisting with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and bedside care, on a 36-hour workweek with varied shifts.

You will gain ICU telemetry experience, post-operative recovery exposure, and cardiac monitoring while joining a multidisciplinary team with structured orientation

Qualifications

• BLS certification within six months of hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of required PCT classes for the unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens.
• Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Document patient information accurately.
• This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations.
• Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
