Job summary

Daikin Applied is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician II/III to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including rooftops, chillers, and boilers. Duties expand with experience, with opportunities to mentor Level I technicians and learn centrifugal rebuilds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical HVAC certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment, including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters and belts, and proper lubrication.
• Repair/replace defective equipment and wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, air handling units, rooftops, cooling towers, and condensers.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Perform warranty service by inspecting/testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and components.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Assist Lead/Level III with centrifugal rebuilds and retrofit activities.
• Document and report billing, inventory, timecards, and reports promptly.
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences; provide status updates to customers.
