Job summary

Geotex Construction Services Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator III to safely operate support equipment while learning advanced construction techniques and building the skills necessary to advance within Geotex.

The role requires operating a range of heavy machinery, assisting on site development and utility work, and performing regular inspections. Overtime opportunities exist, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and reliable transportation for daily outdoor work in Central Ohio.

Qualifications

Previous equipment operation experience preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Operate compactors, skid steers, off-road trucks, tractors, rollers, and rubber tire hoes.
Assist crews with site development and utility work.
Perform daily equipment inspections.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe condition.
Follow direction from Foremen and senior operators.
Support production activities on active construction sites.
Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
