Job summary

Geotex Construction Services, Inc. is actively seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II to support bulk excavation, utility work, and precise grading on site development projects in Central Ohio. This role operates multiple pieces of equipment and works independently to help meet production and quality goals.

The ideal candidate has heavy equipment experience, understands site development or utility construction, and holds a valid driver’s license. CDL, GPS experience, and OSHA certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience in site development or utility construction.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozers, mini excavators, wheel loaders, track loaders, and support equipment.
• Perform bulk earthmoving and utility excavation.
• Load and unload materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and safe operating conditions.
• Follow grade stakes and project plans.
• Learn and utilize GPS machine control systems.
• Support and direct work activities as needed.
• Maintain all company safety standards.
