Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist for the Greater Austin Region. The role supports inpatient and outpatient services with LVAD/HTx, ECHO for VAD/HTx, and collaboration with an integrated team in Lakeway and Round Rock.

Qualifications

• Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants.
• Fellowship training in advanced heart failure/transplant is required.
• Provide coverage for transplant, inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultation service.
• Possible ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and rotation on inpatient transplant services.
• Involvement in LVAD/HTx program and clinic activities.
