Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in the Greater Austin Region seeks a fellowship-trained, board certified/eligible Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist for our growing team. The position focuses on inpatient and outpatient services in Lakeway and Round Rock with LVAD/HTx program involvement.

In addition to heart failure and transplant duties, the role includes potential ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and coverage across BSWH Round Rock and Temple locations.

Qualifications

• Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants.
• Interest in education and research is encouraged, but not essential.
• Provide coverage for Transplant, inpatient and outpatient services.
• Predominant time in Lakeway with defined call duties in Round Rock and Temple locations.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultation services.
• Participate in LVAD/HTx program activities and clinic.
• Read ECHO for VAD/HTx and perform invasive procedures as assigned.
