Qualifications

• UNOS qualification for cardiac transplants.
• Board certification or active pursuit encouraged.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
• Interest in education and research encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultation services.
• Participate in LVAD/HTx program with inpatient rounding and clinic duties.
• Read ECHO for VAD/HTx and perform invasive procedures as available.
• ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and rotation on transplant services.
