Job summary

Piedmont Augusta’s Advanced Heart Failure program is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for a PRN days role. You will join a growing team providing comprehensive heart failure care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including LVAD, genetic screening, and cardio-oncology services.

Minimum qualifications include GA PA license or NP certification with a Master's in Nursing and current GA APRN license; two years of experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
• NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: More than two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Heart Failure outpatient and inpatient care.
• Support LVAD implantation and outpatient clinic activities.
• Participate in Cardio-oncology, genetic screening, and pulmonary artery hypertension care.
• Engage in remote monitoring for heart failure patients.
• Contribute to heart failure research and post-COVID follow-up.
• Assist with cardiac transplant evaluation and CardioMems implantation.

The Advanced Heart Failure Center (AHF) at Piedmont Augusta is a well-established program with an excellent track record for patient success and outcomes. We are growing at a fast pace, and are looking to expand our advanced practice provider team with motivated and qualified individuals that desire to learn and grow with our program. The Piedmont Augusta AHF program provides comprehensive advanced heart failure care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting.

Shift

PRN - Days/M-F or 7 on 7 off (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

Qualifications
