Job summary

Piedmont Augusta is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Advanced Heart Failure Center on a PRN basis. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient heart failure services, including LVAD care and transplant evaluation.

The position requires a GA-licensed PA or NP with appropriate degrees, and may involve days/Mon-Fri or 7 on/7 off patterns; experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board
• NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing

Advanced Practice Provider - Advanced Heart Failure PRN - Piedmont Augusta

The Advanced Heart Failure Center (AHF) at Piedmont Augusta is a well-established program with an excellent track record for patient success and outcomes. We are growing at a fast pace, and are looking to expand our advanced practice provider team with motivated and qualified individuals that desire to learn and grow with our program. The Piedmont Augusta AHF program provides comprehensive advanced heart failure care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting.

Shift

PRN - Days/M-F or 7 on 7 off (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board

Preferred Qualifications

More than two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (not required)
