Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an MA program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• CMA or RMA certification must be obtained within the first year.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider certified within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognize urgent needs and initiate emergency procedures as needed.
• Document patient interactions in EMR accurately.
• Assist with procedures and operate diagnostic equipment as assigned.
• Maintain aseptic technique for procedures and medications.
• Support interdisciplinary communication and patient education.
