Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing program in Toledo, Ohio. This role offers shared call, focus on LVAD care, heart transplant collaboration, and expansion of a hub-and-spoke model across NW Ohio and SE Michigan.

You will contribute to community HF care, participate in outreach clinics, dedicate Cath Lab time for HF procedures, and collaborate with a multi-subspecialty team including interventional, electrophysiology, cardiac

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Grow a robust heart failure program and participate in LVAD and heart transplant care.
• Share call (night, weekend rounding on a rotating basis).
• Dedicated cath lab time for HF procedures (catheterization, sensors, endomyocardial biopsies).
• Outreach clinic 2-3 times per month at satellite HF clinics within 1 hour drive from Toledo.
• Collaborate with multi-subspecialty cardiology group (interventional, EP, imaging, structural heart).

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.

• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.

• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).

• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
