ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing HF program in the Toledo region. You will provide expert care to patients with complex heart failure and work within a multidisciplinary cardiology team.

The role offers opportunities to advance mechanical circulatory support, participate in LVAD and transplant care, and contribute to a hub-and-spoke model across a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active medical license in the applicable state(s).
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiology.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced heart failure cardiology care within ProMedica Physicians Group.
• Participate in a multi-subspecialty team including LVAD and heart transplant care.
• Share on-call duties (night, weekend) on a rotating basis.
• Contribute to development of a robust mechanical circulatory support program.
• Collaborate with satellite HF clinics within driving distance of Toledo.

• Outreach clinic 2-3 times/month at satellite HF clinics setting, within 1 hour or less drive time from Toledo
• Multi-subspecialty cardiology group including interventional, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, & structural heart.
• Catchment area encompasses 27 counties throughout NW Ohio and SE Michigan

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
