Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing in Marion, IA, is seeking an Advanced Harness Assembler to build specialized cables, harnesses and PCBs. You will follow ESD, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards while assembling electronic components with hand tools, soldering, crimping, and sealing processes.

The role requires reading BOMs and drawings, following work instructions, and conducting quality checks to meet daily production goals. Strong manual dexterity and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift/move up to 30–40 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Soldering experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Build specialized cables, harnesses and PCBs.
• Follow ESD, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
• Assemble electronic components using hand tools (soldering, etc.).
• Solder surface mount and through-hole components.
• Read BOMs and assembly drawings; follow work instructions.
• Routinely perform quality and quantity checks; meet production goals.
• Maintain dexterity and perform repetitive tasks.
