Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing is seeking a Wire Harness Assembler to join our employee-owned team. You will assemble wire harnesses used in agricultural, construction, and defense sectors, routing wires, attaching connectors, and applying split loom.

Expect daily variation with different builds and tight production timelines. Qualified candidates will read blueprints and diagrams, and perform precise fiber and wire work with good dexterity.

Qualifications

• Dexterity to handle wires and small components.
• Clear color vision to identify wiring codes.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Willingness to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses for diverse builds (agricultural, construction, defense).
• Combine and route wires, attach connectors, and bind wires.
• Place split loom over wires and ensure proper routing per diagrams.

Primary Function

As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses used in the agricultural, construction, and defense industries. This position will combine and route wires, attach connectors, bind wires, and place split loom over wires. No day is the same, as this position will encounter different builds each day.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced production and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time.
• Good eyesight with accurate color vision.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Understand and follow wire and weld diagrams.
• Ability to read Blue Prints.
• Continuously complete assigned tasks and meet production goals.
• Must have good dexterity with hands.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours as needed.
• Timeliness in reporting to work and properly clocking in/out.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
