Job summary

Ag Express Electronics is seeking a Harness Assembly Technician to fabricate high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies from schematics and diagrams. You will document work orders and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes while maintaining strong customer service standards.

This role is located at our Des Moines, Iowa facility, with day shift responsibilities and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently or in a team and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Meticulous attention to detail with good judgment in demanding situations.
• Knowledge of wire harness tools; experience with manual and pneumatic tools is beneficial.
• Solutions-oriented mindset to navigate challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication processes including wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination, and assembly.
• Rework or rewire as needed while following quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and document work orders.
