Job summary

Ag Express Electronics is seeking a Harness Assembly Technician to fabricate high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies from schematics. You will document work orders and support continuous improvement, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

This on-site Des Moines, IA role requires the ability to work independently or with a team, with strong attention to detail and effective communication to coordinate with production and customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification preferred; experience with cable/wire harness fabrication is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proven attention to detail and quality control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wire harnesses and cable assemblies per schematics.
• Solder, crimp, terminate connectors and perform assembly tasks.
• Maintain clean, safe workstation and document work orders accurately.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to new tasks as needed.
