The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is seeking a Facilities Repair Worker Advanced for the Wisconsin Air National Guard at General Mitchell Air Base in Milwaukee. The role covers interior and exterior building, facility, and grounds maintenance with a focus on inspections, repairs, and preventative work.

Starting pay is $24.90 per hour (03-12), with a 12‑month probationary period and a 4‑10 hour workday schedule (Mon‑Thu, 6:00 am–4:30 pm).

Formación

• Valid driver's license and compliance with Wisconsin Fleet Vehicle Policy.
• Ability to bend, twist, crawl, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience operating grounds and snow removal equipment.
• Experience performing remodeling or improvement projects on buildings.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on vehicles or grounds equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform interior and exterior building, facility, and grounds maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect, analyze, install, adjust, modify, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on building components and surfaces.
• Operate maintenance vehicles and equipment and apply weed/pest control on turf areas.
• Plow snow, apply salt, and manage ice control for walkways and parking areas.
• Provide year‑round grounds maintenance including mowing and trimming.
