Job summary

Prisma Health EMS on the Oconee Medical Campus seeks an EMT-B to provide advanced pre-hospital care, assess patients, manage airways, administer medications, and document care. Responsibilities include driving emergency vehicles, maintaining equipment, and participating in ongoing education to maintain licensure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-B certification (or higher) with BLS CPR.
• 1 year EMT experience; pre-hospital care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and transport patients in emergencies per protocols.
• Provide advanced airway management and oxygen therapy within scope.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as allowed.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and in compliance with policies.
