Job summary

The City of New Orleans is conducting a non-competitive original entrance examination for EMS classifications. Eligible applicants must hold the National Registry EMT-Intermediate (provisional or permanent), CPR certification, REPLICA EMS certification, and an Orleans Parish EMT permit.

Original documents must be provided to EMS within 30 days of employment, and licenses must be maintained throughout employment. After the civil service exam, a physical agility test is administered.

Qualifications
