Zusammenfassung

Hamilton County EMS is seeking qualified individuals to join our emergency medical services team in the Chattanooga area. Under supervision, provide emergency, pre-hospital care and transportation to critically injured or ill patients within licensure parameters.

The position operates within a 24/72 shift schedule with 1,872 regular hours and 312 hours of mandatory overtime. Overtime is paid at time and a half and all staff may be required to respond during public emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of application.
• Possess the equivalent of a high school diploma.
• Possess a current TN AEMT License or be Nationally Registered and eligible for Tennessee licensure prior to employment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, Class D in Tennessee, or the equivalent from the employee’s state of residence.

Aufgaben

• Respond to emergencies and provide emergency, pre-hospital care and transportation to the critically injured or ill.
• Maintain records and files; replenish supplies and equipment; participate in ongoing training.
• Work with public, medical professionals and others to educate and advise on the role, capabilities, and responsibilities of EMS staff.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
