Job Summary

Job Duties

1. Responds to requests in assigned work area.
2. Abides by all Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws.
3. All personnel must use seatbelts when vehicle is in motion.
4. Provides Basic Life Support level of patient care.
5. Assists with routine vehicle and equipment surveys conducted at the start of shifts and after each patient transport; participates in maintaining preparedness and in cleaning as required.
6. Participates in the orientation of new hires.
7. Provides preceptorships for new personnel, residents, students, and volunteers.
8. Participates in patient safety programs and reports errors or adverse events.
9. Follows organizational policies and procedures.
10. Engages in safety education and reports serious incidents.

Work is performed in a clinical environment. Employees must comply with all policies and perform essential duties as outlined.
