Job Summary: Geisinger is now offering NEW starting rates for EMTs. We also offer a $5,000 Bonus to those who qualify. EMT openings are available in our various locations throughout the Central Region.

Job Duties:

1. Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
2. Provide patients with emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment.
3. Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
4. Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
5. Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care respecting patient rights.
6. Transport patients according to policies and procedures.
7. Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
8. Operate and drive ambulance following safety policies and laws.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. You are accountable for fulfilling all job-specific obligations and complying with organizational policies and procedures.
