Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking an Advanced-EMT/EMT-Basic to join our responsive EMS team. You will provide high-quality medical transport and on-scene care, collaborating with dispatch and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• TN EMT certification required (EMT-Basic or Advanced-EMT).
• Driver's license with clean driving record.
• CPR for Health Care Provider.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull at least 125 lbs.
• Successful completion of Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMS staff and management to assure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock; shifts vary.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care and protocols.
• Provide courteous, professional interaction with patients and coworkers.
• Transport patients to medical facilities and follow established procedures.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and organize equipment.
• Gather billing information and obtain signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to Dispatch Center assignments.
• Lift/carry/push/pull as required (125 lbs+).
• Other tasks as assigned.

EMT Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your fellow EMS staff and management to assure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
• Provide top-tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Other tasks as assigned.

EMT Requirements

• TN EMT Certification (EMT-Basic or Advanced-EMT)
• Driver's License and acceptable driving record (Driver's License a minimum of 2 years)
• CPR for Health Care Provider
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull at least 125 lbs
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
