Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Development Engineer to focus on mechanical design for the Advanced Electronics Development Initiative within the Advanced Manufacturing Group.

You will collaborate with the senior mechatronics engineer and physicist to move concepts from idea to tangible prototypes. The role requires hands-on prototyping, drafting, testing, and developing manufacturing procedures for new technologies, with responsibilities spanning from concept to production support in a

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, C++ and Genesis traveler scripts.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques for process control and FMEA.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take a project / build from concept to reality.
• Work with senior engineer/management to understand requirements for the concept.
• Be involved with prototypes and contribute to their fabrication.
• Produce advanced traveler models and integrate them into regular processes.
• Deliver specifications to process engineering and FEE for simulation.
• Test and qualify new products and processes using statistical analysis.
• Perform drafting and DFM for tooling efforts using additive and subtractive methods.
• Establish test vehicles and DOEs for new processes, material testing, and reliability.
• Create manufacturing procedures and guidelines for new technologies.
• Assist with mechanical aspects of other initiatives within the Advanced Manufacturing Group.
