Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products including PCB technologies and RF components, seeking an Advanced Product Engineer to drive technology development and provide technical support for advanced PCB products.

The role emphasizes new product development, materials evaluation, process development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and alignment with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Background in PCB manufacturing, process engineering, product engineering, or advanced technology development.
• Strong knowledge of PCB materials, processes, and construction methods.
• Experience with new product development, process qualification, and manufacturing support.
• Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, fabrication requirements, and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support development of advanced PCBs from concept through prototype, qualification, and production.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to translate technical requirements into manufacturable PCB solutions.
• Support development of rigid, flex, rigid-flex, HDI, high-speed, RF, and other advanced PCB technologies.
• Evaluate and qualify new PCB materials, including laminates, copper foils, surface finishes, and soldermask systems.
• Analyze product and process performance data to drive design, material, and process optimization.
• Participate in design reviews, feasibility reviews, risk assessments, and new product introduction activities.
• Develop and evaluate new processes to support advanced technology requirements.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported product issues.
