Qualifications

• Proficient in echocardiography principles, anatomy and pathology for optimal examinations.
• Experience with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardiac stress testing will be used.
• Maintains infection control and equipment standards during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates echocardiography principles and performs examinations with ICAEL standards.
• Assists cardiologist in performing TEE and stress echocardiography, acquiring quality images.
• Logs and routes studies to physicians for interpretation; notifies physicians of critical findings.
• Maintains equipment, exam rooms and supplies to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
