Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions with expert knowledge of store systems and automotive parts. The role is full-time and involves sourcing from special orders and other sources, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards.

Primary duties include delivering GAS2 selling experiences to DIY customers, meeting sales goals, overseeing DIY services (battery installs, testing, wiper installs), and upholding safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and selling skills.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes and maintain cleanliness.
