Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced functions of the DIY business. The role requires expertise in store systems, automotive knowledge, and parts sourcing, with a focus on delivering top-tier customer service in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in person and via phone, achieving sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery testing and wiper installations. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing, safety, task assignment).
• Assist in store inventory processes and store cleanliness.
