Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy‑duty trucks, refuse vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance and advanced repairs, collaborating with Master Technicians to expand your skills and ensure uptime. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience with diesel trucks, a basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and safety practices;

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks, heavy equipment, or related mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, transmissions, and air brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to maximize reliability of trucks and equipment.
• Repair and maintain refuse trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify failures.
• Complete repair orders, inspections, and parts records accurately.
• Work alongside Master Technicians to build skills and knowledge.
