Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies and assist in invasive procedures at Lakeland St Joseph facilities. The role requires ARRT/ARDMS credentials and at least 2 years of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, obtaining patient history, and ensuring image quality while maintaining a clean, well-supplied work area. On-site coordination with the imaging team is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• ARRT/ARDMS certifications listed above must be attained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Document findings and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Obtain patient history and ensure quality imaging.
• Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and stock supplies.
• Notify management of equipment malfunctions and participate in credentialing.
