Gunnison Consulting Group seeks a Desktop Technician to support the DOI/IA user base across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network infrastructure. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, support standard and specialized applications, and ensure reliable IT operations.

The role emphasizes end-user computing, with opportunities to work on GIS and AutoCAD-related tasks, while maintaining security and incident documentation in a ticketing system.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of related technical experience.
• Experience supporting: Desktop and laptop systems, Mobile devices, Printers and scanners, LAN, servers, and network switches.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced Tier II/III technical support and operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide advanced desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
• Support Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace (Gmail).
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Support specialized applications such as GIS, AutoCAD, or other business applications.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated issues.
