Spokane County is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage time cards, payroll processing, and billing for the Utilities Division. The role involves preparing payroll reports, vouchers, and purchase orders, and maintaining billing records with accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, update accounts, and assist audits. Strong knowledge of accounting practices and data entry is essential for resolving billing issues and ensuring timely payments.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting coursework for up to half the required experience.

Responsabilidades

• Enters time cards for the Utilities Division, coordinates payroll processing, prepares payroll reports.
• Prepares and processes payment documents (vouchers) and purchase orders.
• Maintains accounts and records for printing and mailing of bills.
• Researches and resolves billing questions and issues with customer accounts.
• Communicates with customers regarding questions, complaints, or requests regarding customer accounts.
