Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist (PRN/Part-time) to perform cross-sectional imaging across multiple locations within the health system. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and efficient workflow in CT procedures.

Responsibilities include operating CT scanners, managing contrast reactions, and participating in ongoing staff education and training. Prior CT experience and ARRT certification are preferred; licensed radiologic technologists are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Certificate of completion in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between departments and assists with approved special projects.
• Develops continuing education strategies for the CT Department and staff.
• Provides teaching and learning opportunities to technologists and students.
• Ensures staff operate equipment safely and according to policies and protocols.
• Operates CT scanners and related devices, optimizing radiation dose for image quality.
• Coordinates examinations to minimize patient stay and maintain workflow.
