Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support colleagues, and ensure efficient patient flow. The role may require working additional shifts or at other campuses as needed, and involves basic maintenance troubleshooting and QA participation.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiology program, ARRT CT (or NMTCB) and ARRT Radiography credentials, and Texas MRT licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• CT certification by ARRT/NMTCB within 1 year of hire.
• Texas MRT licensure or equivalent state license.
• BLS certification.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Competencies and supports staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies and standards.
• Collaborates with physicians to optimize patient flow and throughput.
• Scans and stores completed exams in PACS.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports issues to supervision.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology

Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB

Radiography (R) by ARRT

Texas MRT licensure

BLS certification
