Live Well Homecare seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and molecular imaging under licensed practitioners. You will ensure patient safety, verify identities, and prepare patients for exams, while adhering to protocols and ALARA standards.

The role involves operating imaging equipment, assisting with interventional procedures, and providing education to students and healthcare staff to maintain high-quality care.

Formación

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required on hire; new grads must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program; a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform or assist CT procedures, prioritize patient safety, and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain correct patient information, verify identity, and prepare patients for exams.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and follow ALARA principles for safety and quality imaging.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed and document activities per regulations.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform CT scans as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
