Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research CT procedures in a clinical setting. The role emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and accurate documentation of histories and exposures.

The candidate will operate imaging equipment, evaluate image quality, and support interventional CT scans while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. Students and staff education are part of the role.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire; new graduates must obtain ARRT-R or NMTCB certification before starting.
• Experience with radiologic technology training; molecular imaging experience a plus.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment, evaluate images, and work collaboratively in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, ensure proper preparation, and document clinical history securely.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure in compliance with legal and institutional policies.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and perform prescribed CT scans.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
