Job summary
Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, FL, is seeking a Molding and Demolding Technician to work with shell blocks in core manufacturing. You will prepare the area, operate molding and transfer blocks through multiple unit operations, and ensure quality per specifications.
The role requires reading engineering instructions, mechanical aptitude, and US work authorization. Training in LOTO, forklift operation, and safety is provided; cross-training in related tasks is supported.
Qualifications
- High School or GED required.
- Ability to read Engineering instructions.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Export license requirement for certain duties; must comply with US export control law.
Responsibilities
- Review daily molding schedule and prepare the area for operation.
- Operate molding block equipment and transfer shell blocks through the process flow.
- Adjust machines and controls; troubleshoot as needed to meet quality specs.
- Document calibrations and request work orders when equipment is not operating correctly.
- Cross-train as needed and support other duties as assigned.
