The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for preparing quality food for patients, associates, and customers, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, utilizing WC recipes and production sheets. Responsibilities may include tray assembly, distribution, service, sanitation, cleaning, and equipment use.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Prepares patient and retail menu items on production sheets, following WC recipes and forecasted quantities.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Assists the Chef in inventory management as needed.

The expertise and experience needed to succeed:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent upon hire
• 5+ years of related experience
• Food Handler Certificate (FHC) for Florida within 2 weeks of hire
