Job summary

Vail Resorts in Utah (Park City area) seeks culinary-focused team members for Summer Seasonal 2026. You will support Executive and Sous Chefs, prepare a variety of menu items, and contribute to delivering an Experience of a Lifetime for guests and teammates in a dynamic, mountain setting.

Starting wage ranges from $22.00/hr to $29.22/hr with opportunities for growth, training, and wellness benefits as part of our hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers
• Share our passion for the mountains during service
• Follow the leaderships guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting
• Prepare a range of food items in a fun teamwork oriented environment
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the work day

Responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute, prepare and ensure quality service in our culinary operations. Perform daily back of house culinary tasks to deliver excellent culinary service to resort guests, including but not limited to the following: Setting and stocking work stations as necessary; Preparing a wide variety of basic to complex menu items; and Assisting other cooks as needed.

The expected pay range is$22.00/hr - $29.22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
