Job summary

Techtronic Industries - TTI in Anderson, SC is seeking an Engineering professional in the Advanced Concepts group. The role emphasizes hands‑on design, rapid prototyping, and clear communication to progress concepts toward product development while aligning with schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or equivalent engineering degree.
• 0-3 years’ experience in design, prototyping, and/or test fixture development.
• Strong 3D CAD experience.
• Experience with hands‑on fabrication (3D printing, woodworking, metalworking).
• Experience with electronics including Arduino and Raspberry Pi is a plus.
• Understanding of power, speed and torque metrics.
• Experience with measurement equipment for vibration and sound is a plus.
• An eye for aesthetically pleasing designs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and create prototypes that demonstrate future solutions for future product needs.
• Ideate and create demos showcasing our products’ performance and features.
• Work with cross functional team including Industrial Designers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
• Build and manage budget, schedule, and quality expectations to meet key milestones.
• Communicate technical details and concepts to both technical and non‑technical team members.
