Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking an Advanced Composites Technician in Mountain View, CA. You will manufacture composite components, perform complex lay-ups, and apply vacuum bagging to ensure high-quality parts per engineering drawings and CMIs.

The role requires 4 years of lay-up/bonding experience, ability to read specs, and proficiency with Creo/AutoCAD. US citizenship or green card is required; the position is on-site in California with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in lay-up and bonding.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and CMIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complicated lay-ups, including those requiring complex tooling.
• Use vacuum bagging techniques to achieve tight, cosmetic lay-ups.
• Utilize photogrammetry, Theodolites, lasers, and related software for contouring and alignment.
• Assemble & bond composite components per drawings and procedures; read blueprints and generate templates in Creo/AutoCAD.
