Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts and job orders.
• 2+ years CNC setup and operate experience preferred.
• Strong measuring skills using gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces on machines using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Stop machines to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement according to required machining sequences.
• Transfer commands from servers to CNC modules and load control media to retrieve programs.
• Operate CNC machines or robots to perform machine functions on metal or plastic workpieces.
• Monitor machine operation and readings to detect malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Inspect sample parts to verify conformance with specifications.
