Job summary

Avalign Technologies, Inc. in Akron, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our growing team on a second shift. You will set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines, fabricate medical instruments and implants, deburr parts, and inspect with precision tools, while maintaining daily documentation.

You will apply advanced GD&T knowledge, perform tool changes, and collaborate across teams to meet stringent quality specifications for medical devices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating a CNC machine.
• Advanced print reading knowledge.
• Advanced GD&T knowledge.
• Experience performing CNC setups.
• Able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mill turn machines independently.
• Perform machine setup activities.
• Independently perform daily machine preventative maintenance.
• Process required documentation (job traveler, I.P. sheets, etc.).
• Facilitate use of First Piece Log.
• Conduct tool changes and tool size changes.
• Set tooling on all machine types within assigned zone.
