Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a Machinist Level 3 - Mill for the Kulpsville, PA area. The role operates CNC centers and manual machines, with responsibilities spanning setup, run, and inspection of complex geometries on plastics and metal components.

Shift is 3rd, 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM, in a KV Union environment. Requires NC programming familiarity and ability to read drawings; growth and training opportunities are available within the plastics machining group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 36 months of machine center experience in a production environment including NC programming knowledge.
• Must be able to read, write and interpret engineer diagrams.
• Must possess G-code knowledge and be able to edit CNC Programs for various lathes and mills.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret production drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers, semi-auto, and manual machines.
• Assist in programming CNC equipment and first article inspection.
• Set up and run production parts with complex geometries within setup/run time.
• Use measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure quality targets.
• Maintain housekeeping and document machine setup information in the data system.
