Qualifications

• 6+ years CNC machining experience; strong manual backgrounds considered.
• Detail orientation and pride in precision to hit tight tolerances.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork within a shop.
• Blueprint literacy and confident use of inspection instruments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; NIMS or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate, and edit CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts.
• Execute efficient setups using detailed sheets and tool lists.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; deburr/finish to spec.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; apply manual machining when needed.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and process improvements; mentor apprentices.
