Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services and supervise technical staff within the hospital’s pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include interpreting orders, verifying and dispensing medications, monitoring therapy for safety and efficacy, participating in antimicrobial management, drug information, and clinical programs, and training pharmacy staff.

A PharmD or B.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited program.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state.
• Hospital experience preferred (minimum 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Interpret orders and transcribe/verify into the pharmacy system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications and interactions.
• Provide drug information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist antimicrobial management and clinical programs.
• Train and supervise staff and integrate with patient care teams.
